Unraveling Yarns ~ Let's Knit a Bit
Let's Knit a Bit !

12 Stones and Lavender is thrilled to host long time knitting instructor Sheila Mulhern on May 25th at 9 am for a beginners knitting workshop!

We have been calling this workshop Unraveling Yarns. In this course we will learn the absolute basics of knitting by creating a dish cloth.  Choosing the dish cloth as your first project ensures that you can make mistakes and still have something useful to show for it!

Who should come: Anyone who has a desire to learn how to knit along with a desire for new friends and community.   If you can tie your shoes, you can knit!

Where: 12 Stones And Lavender 2549 Trade Center Dr. Evans, GA 30809

When: Saturday morning, May 25, 2024 10 am - 11 am ( or longer if needed)

What to expect:  We will open the doors at 9:30 am so you can grab your chair and get settled in. Then enjoy some coffee or juice along with a breakfast treat while you meet everyone. This is a wonderful opportunity for meeting new friends and creating community.   Class will start at 10:00 and go as long as needed.

What to bring:  Just a smile and an excitement for learning.  Folding metal chairs can get uncomfortable after a long period so feel free to bring a cushion or pillow if you feel might need one.

Class price of $30 includes:
  •  yarn
  • one set of knitting needles
  • written instructions to bring home with you for future reference.
Save your spot by sending payment through Venmo directly to @Sheila-Mulhern
