Quartz is the most common of the silica minerals. The group is all composed of silicon dioxide but have different crystal structures.  The others form under specific conditions like very high temperatures.  The name quartz comes from the German quarz, without a “t”.  It may be derived from the Polish kwardy (“hard”). Pure quartz is colorless but trace metal inclusions can color it purple (amethyst), yellow (citrine), and brown (smoky quartz). It also forms in fibrous varieties without visible crystals like chalcedony.

Quartz is one of the most useful natural materials. Its usefulness can be linked to its physical and chemical properties.

Quartz makes an excellent gemstone. It is hard, durable, and usually accepts a brilliant polish. Popular varieties of quartz that are widely used as gems include: amethyst, citrine, rose quartz, smoky quartz, and aventurine. Agate and jasper are also varieties of quartz with a microcrystalline structure.

The Clear Quartz crystal meaning is known for its high vibrations. By clearing your mind, body, and spirit of any clutter.

Clear Quartz crystal can help you align with your highest self and live at your highest potential.

Clear Quartz is especially powerful for anyone looking to set and achieve new goals. It works by helping you get crystal clear on what you want and how to manifest it.

Clear Quartz helps you in creating a vision of your life that is unique to you. Helping you to drown out the noise from the outside world or any internal distraction, you are able to see your ideal life in your mind’s eye and work toward making it a reality.

Because it works by raising your vibration and helping you stay clear on what you want to create, a Clear Quartz crystal is the ideal stone for manifestation. Although the entire family of Quartz crystals are known for their manifesting abilities, Clear Quartz crystal properties are especially useful for this type of practice because they allow you to supercharge your intentions. In the same way that Clear Quartz can charge other crystals, it can amplify and enhance the power of your intention.

Use your crystal quartz by wearing it as jewelry ,  carrying it in your pocket or purse, and keeping it close by in your environment.

Quartz with inclusions refers to clear quartz which may contain any one of many minerals within its crystal body. The most common mineral inclusions are Chlorite(green or lavender), Hematite (red/red sparkles), Goethite(orange yellow), Rutile(golden needles), Clay(brown), Mica(dark hexagon), Specular Hematite (dark flakes, sparkle), Epidote (green needles), Tourmaline (black needles) Liquid or gasses (bubble) and even Gold and Silver. These combinations occur when a mineral, already present is enclosed by the quartz as it grows. The minerals could also have formed in fissures or cracks of the quartz which had already finished growing. Many crystals are enhanced by the presence of these minerals which often display lovely optical effects, color or visual interest.

Golden Rutilated Quartz   is a variety of quartz which contains acicular (needle-like) inclusions of rutile. It is used for gemstones. These inclusions mostly look golden, but they also can look silver, copper red or deep black. They can be distributed randomly or in bundles, which sometimes are arranged star-like, and they can be sparse or dense enough to make the quartz body nearly opaque. While otherwise inclusions often reduce the value of a crystal, rutilated quartz in fact is valued for the quality and beauty of these inclusions.
Green Rutilated Quartz is a quartz with green tourmaline needle like inclusions vs prehnite that has epidote needle like inclusions.  It's hard to tell the difference without testing each stone to be sure which is which.   Green Rutilated Quartz is going to have the qualities of green tourmaline amplified by the quartz. Black Rutilated Quartz   is a variety of quartz which contains acicular (needle-like) inclusions of rutile. The main difference between black rutilated quartz and tourmalinated quartz  is the crystalline inclusion itself. Rutile is a type or of titanium, while tourmaline is a boron silicate. They both have the same color, and the thread-like formations are similar, but they have different chemical compositions.

Phantom quartz is a variety of quartz consisting of visible layers of overlapping crystal growths. The outline of the inner crystals can be seen due to some variation in composition or mineral inclusion making the boundary between growths visible. The interior crystal layers are known as phantoms.
