Beryl Family
Key Words:

Healing from Trauma
Emotional Healing
Peace during grief
Peace during loss

Morganite is a pink semi-precious stone belonging to the beryl mineral family which also includes the more common beryls like emerald and aquamarine.

Available in a variety of colors including pink, rose, peach, purple and salmon, the pink and rose-colored stones are the most sought after today. The deeper shades tend to be much more rare and valuable.

The magical morganite stone was originally first discovered on the coast of Madagascar in 1911. Within the same year, the romantic pale-pink stone was named after mineral collector and financier J.P. Morgan.

As Rose Quartz is the great energizer of personal love and self love, Morganite is attuned most clearly to the frequency of Divine Love. Morganite opens the heart on another level, making us aware of the huge ocean of cosmic love within which we all exist.  ~ Simmons 330

Morganite can bring an immediate release of old pains and sorrow and a sense of lightness, as though a burden has been lifted. It can make the healing of old wounds easier, bringing long forgotten traumas into consciousness where one can relieve them  one last time as they are being released.

Morganite is recommended to all those who wish to do serious inner work and emotional self healing.

Wearing Morganite, especially in gem form, evokes a sense of peace, joy and inner strength; worn for extended periods of time, it encourages a growth of confidence and power that comes from a constant awareness of the connection to Divine love.

Morganite also encourages fair treatment to others, especially those with mental or emotional problems or physical illnesses that make them hostile to others. It is an ideal crystal for realizing the equality in all relationships, and in developing effective but loving communication and expression.

This crystal is particularly supportive for girls entering puberty who do not have a mother, and for younger women struggling with eating disorders.

It also quiets stress, relieves pressure to perform, and reduces the pattern of avoidance and “running away” from situations.

Morganite contains accessible information relevant to the history of its uses and experiences, as well as information concerning environmental structures of other worlds. It may be used to assist our understanding of the aspects of love, that when implemented, could be used to heal and maintain the Earth.

Morganite opens and heals the Heart Chakra, helping to overcome fear, resentment and anger, and in recognizing unfulfilled emotional needs and feelings which have gone unexpressed.

It also reveals defense mechanisms that are fear-based and make meaningful relationships difficult, thereby creating resistance to healing and transformation. Morganite stabilizes the emotional field, activating and energizing loving thoughts and actions, and brings in wisdom and calmness of mind.

It increases the ability to accept loving words and actions from others, and releases the attachment to old relationships that have ended badly or needed resolution, encouraging one to move forward with renewed purpose and an open heart.

Morganite can be a remarkable crystal for attracting one’s soul-mate or deepening a current relationship, and because of its connection to Divine energies, may also be used for peace and acceptance when facing grief or deep loss.
