Bumble Bee is the trade name for colorful fibrous calcite found at Mount Papandayan, West Java, Indonesia in the late 1990's.
It's not a true jasper because it doesn’t consist primarily of microcrystalline quartz Instead, it is a sedimentary rock that contains sulfur, manganese oxides, arsenic sulfides, calcite, aragonite, realgar, and orpiment. Each layer is significant. The yellow layers are due to sulfur, the black to manganese oxides, and the orange to arsenic sulfides.
Much like its vibrant colors, Bumble Bee Jasper is full of bright, positive energy that can enhance your everyday life. It resonates most strongly with the the sacral and solar plexus chakras. This stone helps to energize and open up these chakras for energy to flow easier and more abundantly.
