Black Sunstone is a relatively new gem that has been found in Southern India.
It shares some similar qualities to Sunstone but as it has a black coloring so it has big protective energy as well.
It appears to be great at clearing out negative energies and intentions of those around us.
As it's such a new stone, research is still being done to ascertain what kind of gem it is and whether it is in fact gray aventurine or a style of quartz.
Research is still being conducted surrounding the exact crystalline nature of these stones and how they could possible have come to be. They have significant inclusions of both quartz, graphinite, and aventurine, which is a very complex and unheard of combination.
Like all black stones, black sunstone will clear out any negative energy that is lingering around you.
In the market, it retails at considerably high prices due to the fact that it is currently not found anywhere outside of India.
